For Renovation Architects

As-Built Documentation Packages

Everything your design team needs before renovation work starts — floor plans, building sections, and a reflected ceiling plan, produced from a single LiDAR scan and coordinated as a complete drawing set.

What's in the package

An as-built documentation package is a coordinated set of drawings produced from a single LiDAR scan. Instead of ordering individual deliverables separately and trying to reconcile them, the package gives your team floor plans, cross-sections, and a reflected ceiling plan that all share the same datum, same scale, and same coordinate system.

For renovation architects working on complex projects — gut rehabs, historic preservation, multi-story additions — this is the right starting point. You get drawings that cross-reference each other, which reduces coordination errors and makes it easier to develop construction documents from the as-built base.

Deliverables

  • Measured floor plan (all levels) — PDF + DWG
  • Building sections (2 standard cuts, more available per section)
  • Reflected ceiling plan
  • All drawings coordinated to the same datum
  • Matterport virtual tour included free
  • Package pricing: component sum minus 10%

Who needs this

  • Architects designing gut rehab or adaptive reuse projects
  • MEP engineers who need section cuts for coordination
  • Preservation architects documenting existing fabric
  • Developers evaluating renovation scope before committing

Coordinated drawings vs. individual deliverables

When you order floor plan + sections + RCP separately from three different sources, you often end up with inconsistencies — a wall that lands in a different location between plan and section, a ceiling height that doesn't match between the section and the RCP. Those discrepancies create rework and confusion during design.

A coordinated package from a single scan eliminates that. Every drawing references the same LiDAR dataset, so what you see in the floor plan matches what appears in the section.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sections are included?

Two standard building sections are included in the base package. Additional sections can be added for $300 each. Specify the sections you need in your quote request.

Can I add interior elevations?

Yes. Interior elevations ($150/room) can be added to any package.

What does "coordinated" mean?

All drawings use the same datum, coordinate system, and reference grid — so a dimension in the floor plan matches what you see in the section and the RCP.

How long does delivery take?

2–4 business days for most projects, depending on building complexity.
